Membership
We welcome new members, and an application form can be downloaded from the link on the right. Membership fees for 2011 are shown below.
Anybody interested in membership who does not know any current member should contact the manager or any member of the committee who will be pleased to show them round and introduce them to the club.
The popularity of the club means that we currently have a waiting list. The manager can provide an up to date estimate of the length of time it will take to join. However, because we are keen to attract lady and junior members there is no waiting list for these categories.
We also offer social membership for people who want to enjoy our location and clubhouse.
The club is owned by its members and any surplus is put back into the club. It is run by a committee with a chairman elected each year. Committee members are elected for three years.
The club runs competitions most Saturdays throughout the year, and there are a variety of friendly matches with other clubs and also sections of the club who play at different times of the week.
We play an active role in our local leagues: the men's team has won the North Northumberland league five times in the last decade and the ladies team joined the first division of the Northumberland league in 2009.
We have a series of social events during the year, ranging from themed dining nights to quiz evenings.
