Easter Weekend

Sparrows v SwallowsThe “Sparrows vs Swallows” opening competitive event of the Sparrows v Swallows presentationyear on Good Friday attracted the largest field for many years and benefitted from benign conditions. The result was a 4-2 win for the transitory community (Swallows). Given the substantial margins of victory in their two wins, dissenting voices from the residents (Sparrows) suggested the result should be decided on a holes up basis but they were overruled by the competition secretary (who happened to be a Swallow).
